Learn to Meditate: Zen Yoga Breathing and Fire Meditation
Fire is a Vital source of Heat and Light:
In Ancient Greek Mythology, Prometheus brought fire to humankind.
He went against Zeus to give humans light and warmth.
Zeus was angered and chained Prometheus to the side of a mountain, intending to punish him for all eternity.
Visualization of fire:
Visualization of fire Meditation combined with Zen Yoga Hara Breathing helps to develop
practitioner’s inner passion. His deepest heart desire will come to his awareness fully.
Meditation Objects:
- You can actually use a lit candle as in Zen Yoga candlelight meditation.
- Fire in fireplace,
- photo of fire
Or
- visualize fire
Zen Yoga Hara Breathing:
As in a previous Hara breathing
focus your breathing in the lower abdomen
expanding Hara during inhalation
gently contracting and shrinking Hara during exhalation
Breathe in and let the flame come into yous mind, heart, body and soul.
Breathe out all the darkness of the obstacles.
You don’t have to have verbal descriptions of all the obstacles
Just experience the feelings and sensation.
This burning desire, your definite purpose spread through your body.
Repeat a series of in-and-out breath.
Just do a sitting of 5 to 10 minutes at a time.

Whatever obstacle you experience
You will be set on fire
and focus on your definite purpose
Your desire.
Journal your thoughts, feelings and reflections
Spend a few minutes and write whatever comes up for you.
