Crystal Eastman was one of the major leaders who fought for the Women’s Suffrage. She passed away in 1928. She is a visionary who understood the basic challenges women faced. For decades women struggled to be a nurturing mothers staying at home with their children and to express their full potential as a processional.
Or current economy does not function, or I should say, does not function and it requires two income earners to support a family on an average.
Many decades of feminism rooted and cultivated awareness and desires for women to have both the joys of love and motherhood. Women no longer have to choose 9 to 5 jobs to earn money or work for big corporation among men of suites and ties to create nurturing family environments and satisfying professions.
In this age of the Internet Revolution, tens of thousands of women have found a solution to their century old problem. The Internet revolution generated steps, strategies, systems and communities that allow men and women to work from home and gain their economic independence and sustainability.
