Like what is good about your 9 to 5 job
Are you fortunate to have a job?
Do you appreciate your job?
Are you getting sick and tired of people with a superior attitude?
Approaching you and telling you;
“You’ve got an employee’s mentality!”
These comments or questions go on and on:
“A 9 to 5 job.. That’s slavery.”
“Why are you stuck in a cubicle?”
Never mind what they say.
After all you’ve got a salary. You’ve got a paid position. So many people are unemployed.
Should you be happy? Shouldn’t you be grateful that you have a job? And you actually are going somewhere in life.
Here is the thing you really should think about:
You need to take a look at what your vision is for your future. What you’d like to accomplish in life…
What does it look like in 5 years or 10 years?
Working at home? Some people don’t like working out of home. Many people say they need to get out of their house and go to an office. Many people have different styles and ideas.
Whatever you current situation, don’t let anyone make you feel you are less than you deserve. Just because of what you are doing right now. Never give up on your dream.
Really sit down and calculate out; plan out your future.
Do you have a pension plan?
A secure source of retirement?
Is your job secure?
Or when you are 50 years old or 55 years old or even 60 years old…
would you have a sufficient amount of money saved up ?
When you do slow down a little as you age, can you make it?
Or if you have children and you want to make sure they get through college; and pay for their tuition; help they pay for their student loans…
It’s quite painful for them to be bombarded with a huge student loan and interests easily $50,000 and $75,000 in their life time.
Would you be able to help them?
What about if you become a grandparent?
Life is getting tougher. The economic structure is collapsing. Your grown up children have children. Now you are grandparents. Will you be able to help them? Luxuriously and generously like my parents have for my family and me. Even though I am Japanese, our children’s paternal parents are American.
What is your plan B?
That is the most important focus moving forward.
