Four Seasons of Your Life: 4 Elements to Gain Satisfaction
Four seasons have been appreciated by people; philosophers, artists and musicians around the world.
Antonio Vivaldi, born in Italy was one of the greatest Baroque composers. His best known work is the Four Seasons, violin concertos. I want to share this short video with you. I embedded Steve Villa’s Piano performance on the street …Vivaldi’s the Four Season (winter)… because it’s excellent and because it is wonderful to share with you something very beautiful.
Knowing About Four Seasons of Your Life:
You have four seasons in your life. There are 4 Elements needed for you to gains satisfaction in your life.
Having four satisfying seasons in my life is so important.
Four seasons are definitely a metaphor about a human life cycle. Perhaps for animals, too.
I notice that when many of my friends achieve their financial freedom, they love to travel and get away from the northern part of the world and live in the tropical.
There are so many beautiful places by the ocean or the mountain. Always warm and lots of sun light.
There are four elements to achieve satisfaction in life:
You may get sick. You may experience negative things happening to your loved ones beyond your control. We may go though some challenging times financially.
[1] You have to develop awareness and accept that there is a life cycle consisting of four seasons in your life.
[2] You must take care of health of your physical body.
[3] You must always study personal development and tune into your higher self.
[4] You must maintain, and if necessary be willing to learn about healthy finances for yourself and your loved ones.
Understanding that Your Life is about Going Through a Cycle of Four Seasons:
I love to live in a place that has four seasons. Perhaps I am influenced by Haiku, one of the important traditional poetry, its 5,7,5 syllables in three metric units. Each poem inherently celebrates one season and is accentuated by a seasonal phrase to express the uniqueness of the season it portrays.
Like Basho’s Haiku;
“Stillness – ah! Seeps into rocks cicada’s voice.”
To an English speaking person, a regular Westerner, this poem means absolutely nothing… probably… But you know this is a very important part of my legacy and who I am.
The Season of Your Life Is Spring:
Spring is about buds, young seedling, growth, new life, freshness…
You are a child in the spring cycle of your life.
You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.
Summer:
Plants and vegetables grow lavishly. Fruits ripen. Birds pick on berries. Many beneficial insects come out and thrive. Bees are busy making honey. The oceans and the sky rendezvous in the late evening sun set.
You can lie down outside and look at the stars and the moon all night.
The summer showers are more vigorous. The summer clouds voluminous and so much more powerful.
Your body is heated passionately. Looking for a dance, romance and swimming naked.
Much more physical than intellectual.
You are intoxicated with the vigor and passion of life…
You are a young adult in the summer cycle of your life.
(Many people may have missed this completely.)
Autumn:
Your focus turns outward. You begin to notice your surroundings to change gradually.
First harvest… The colors begin to change. You begin to appreciate things more with your artistic sense and intellect. You begin to sense calming and becoming less agitated. You become more reflective.
Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.
Begin to think into the time ahead. Begin to depend less on your physical abilities.
Leaves are falling.
This is a big transition time…
You begin to grasp for secure footing with the Mother Earth. Maybe your children are growing up and leaving home. You will have to reassess your life.
You are going through middle- age and beyond, in the autumn cycle of your life.
Winter:
Nowadays, older people do not want to retire. They want to be very active.
Hopefully, you have devoted some time when you were younger, in cultivating spirituality, studying in personal development, taking care of your health by eating properly and exercising.
There are personal differences… but you will slow down and you will have some limitations with your body.
In seed time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy.
If you are not in a habit of keeping a journal, this may be a great time to start. It may be difficult to imagine, in many ways blogging will be much more suitable. In the Internet Era, there are few very user-friendly blog site available. This is the time to sit back and enjoy your life… in the winter cycle of your life. Many people misunderstand that an illness is due to an old age. It is that … you didn’t take care of yourself well.
We don’t just decay simply because we get older.
By this time, hopefully your finances are completely secure and you are sufficiently rewarded by your retirement funds.
(Vivaldi in his old age struggled financially and died poor. There are so many talented musicians and artists who struggle financially. That is so sad. It’s important to take care of your financial future and health. )
It is very important to study and improve your mindset before you reach your Winter Season. It is really important to have a financial security by this time.
Fortunately, the Internet Revolution and automation has made it possible for many people to earn extra income without having much technical skills. Many of my friends have listened to this audio Library to get inspired and get the right mindset. They have transformed their lives.
