Forgotten Secrets to Set Your Visions And Goals: There’s Only One You

There’s Only One You and You Are Forgetting When you Set Goals

I’d like to talk about today if you are forgetting about something when you are setting up your vision or a goal.  Or a purpose in your life.

We sit down and spend some time setting up a purpose and a vision.   Especially in everyday things you decide…
you set up a 30 day goal, 60 day or 90 day goal…   Is there some equation you are missing?

What you included:
You included the exact amount of money you’d like to make.  The target date you’d like to achieve by.  You’ve included that the things you would do or give up to achieve what you want.  Different plans, actions plan to get your results.    You write down all these.  You read and recite daily.  All these are done as the 6 Step Formulas.

What’s Missing?
But I felt something was missing for me.  Last night I heard one of my mentors from my Mastermind Group say, “Life you want wants you.  You can’t help people if you stay in your little shell.”  This rang a bell for me.  It really resonated with me.  I heard this as “you can’t play big if you are stuck in a small shell.”

Often I say I can’t do this; I don’t want to do that; because of xyz; I have so many reasons for not doing something.  But I never think on a daily basis, “Maybe I am needed.”  “Maybe I can serve doing something.”

Actually I am not serving the people who really need my teaching.  For example, I’ve trained in Zen Yoga healing arts and spirituality, and I haven’t been teaching this on a regular basis. I do apply the principles daily.

Whoever come into contact with me, benefit from what I know and say.  But I am not teaching Zen Yoga actively any more.

Are you like that?  Is this you?  Is that something so special about you?  And you are not really sharing yourself.
Because it didn’t make enough money?  Because you are into doing something else?  That you don’t share about what you are and what you can contribute?

In my profession, I come across with many leaders and they tell me, “I was asked to speak on stage but what am I going to say? I am going to say the same old thing again?”  In this case, I am so clear and I can say because it’s not me because it’s someone else.

“Hey, it’s not all about you.”  If someone in the audience hears what you have to share and learn from your story, he may be really inspired.  And get a new idea and new perspectives in life.

When you talk about yourself and tell your story, it’s not all about you.

Real Secret that you were missing:
When you are setting a small goal here and there;
when you make a small decision on a day to day basis,
To make a big shift in the direction you head from here to there,

Change a little perspective
To shift a degree in the direction just a little…

Start to think…

Include this equation and ask yourself a question:

How am I valuable to someone else based on what I know and who I am?
Valuable to someone else?
Because “Me” is lacking from that space of someone else,

how much am I depriving of others from learning and getting inspired.

there is only one you who can spark that light that no one else has.

Rethink.  Re-evaluate.
Who you are; what you are and what you know.

No one should travel on a distant journey, starting out on an empty stomach.
Japanese Proverb

All visions and goals ultimately connect you to others in your journey.  You may set  amazing goals for your family and yourself.

  • Meet yourself first
  • Value yourself first
  • Love yourself first.

Your journey, your vision and goal will be as worthy as you respect and love yourself.
