There is one very important saying in Network Home Business Online.  The money is in your list.  To succeed in your home based business, you will need basic tips and strategies for building your email list.

Success tips added to new strategies you need are based on the changes of the time.   I keep mentioning Network Home Business Online because whether you are just network marketer, real estate broker or a financial consultant. When you have a list of prospects, you must  change your thinking to  Email campaigns.   Focus working online.  Otherwise, you will be left out.  The world is rapidly changing.

Here are basic tips that will help you to change your thinking.  You must incorporate and learn and not be stuck in the outdated models. 
Specific strategies will follow…

 

Tips on what to incorporate into your business: 

[1] Adaptability:

It is how you change according to what is happening around you so that things will be working for you better.  There were three giants facing the biggest challenge.  IBM, Motorola and Eastman Kodak.
Kodak invented digital camera but did not have the insight to position itself into the future.  Kodak stayed with selling films and printing using chemicals. Less and less demands for films and developing as digital cameras became wildly popular.  This Technology disruption made 121 year old company stumble. 

[2] Versatility:

From my personal experience with my European friends talking to them on SKYPE and my family in Japan.  When I tell them about how cold it is, “It’s 11 degrees.” Or “Oh it went up to 18 degrees.”  They have no ideas.  Because we use Fahrenheit and they use Centigrade.  So I have to say like this…”It was
-11 degrees and now it bumped up to – 7 degrees.”  {wow, it sounds much colder being negative.}

So versatility is your great skills and ability in being able to switch and be able to operate well in different modes.

[3] Conversions! 

 

Being able to convert one form to another is so important.  Also if your business is becoming international.  If you can execute these tips, you can really reach far and wide.

IBM and Motorola managed to survive but Eastman Kodak that was the KING went under.  You can be old-fashioned in your values but in your business strategy, you’ve got to take trends seriously into consideration.

 

Success Strategies to Build Your Email List:

[4] Email Campaign Setup:

When I go to  live seminars or live webcasts on Network Home Business Online,  presenters always say, “The money is in your list. Build your list.”

If you are a network marketer, you’ve been told to make a list of the people you know, friends, family, high school and college buddies, etc.”    You go to networking meetings and gather people’s business cards.  You call them and nowadays you never get any one on the phone. 

I remember when I was in a network marketing business brad new, I was told to start with a list of twenty people.  If you had 100 names on your list, that was consider being really good.   You phoned them to make an appointment… most of the time you couldn’t get them.   Now almost everyone  has a cell phone.  And you still can’t get them especially younger ones. (Millennium or Y Generation and younger.)

But you know having 100 names on your list will not help you make money that you need to get you free.

Implementing an Email campaign strategy is essential in your business.  You need to have thousands of names on your email list.  Telephone calls do not work to solicit new people.  Digital communication changed human behavior therefore your business practice should reflect that.
Who answers the phone?  Text messaging has taken over.  Whatever your target audience is, I am sure you include some Y generation as well.

Some of the basic tools required are:

Your own website or a blog site:
Your company’s website alone is not adequate.  People must want to buy from you and do business with you.  Branding is the essence of being successful as an entrepreneur.  All serious  and successful entrepreneurs avoid free site.

Autoresponder:

An autoresponder service is essential.
It allows marketers to set up campaigns and collect Email addresses and create a vital data.
Then to send out  both scheduled Email letters and daily letters to your subscribers.
Most beginning marketers use Aweber or Getresponse.   Most marketers even when they are beginning to cross over 6 figure income, they use one of these servers.  Many of my colleagues in my community of tens of thousands marketers prefer Getresponse.

When marketers have tens of thousands of names on their lists, they prefer to use more expensive and extensive services.

I still receive from marketers Email campaigns  that I did not opt-in  for and did not ask to join.
And these senders do not provide an automated “unsubscribe” links or their street addresses.   This is illegal.

 

[5] Using Social Media Sites:

Begin to create and post a blog article of  good contents daily.  Syndicate your content on Social Media sites.

 

Not just on Facebook.  You syndicate across Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus and more.  Your lifestyle; something that reveals that you are the person people would like to get to know; fun things you do; motivational and inspiring quotes;  something that you know well…

You write about your life and people will read and get to know you.  If you have your own blog site, and write a blog, this will be much more powerful and if you make videos and post them on YouTube, your sphere of influence will be widened.

I have a banner or an image embedded that requests my readers to share my blog on their social media sites.

 

This is free traffic generation and list building.  This takes time.  Video blogging allows your posts to get discovered by search engines. 

Good news is that we train you to do the keyword search and rank high on the Google page.

[6] What is Paid Traffic?

In Internet marketing terminology, we say you pay for a click.
We have Solo ads, Facebook ads, brokers, Craigslist…
In the video I misspoke.  It’s not recommended to buy an e-mail list or e-mail addresses from a broker or a vendor.  Rather you pay per click. (PPC)  A click means when a person sees a landing or capture page and puts  his name and his Email or just his Email.  There is a link that connects to your webform or campaign that you have already created in your Autoresponder.  Your prospect’s information is automatically sent to your list you have created in your Autoresponder. Your new prospect is automatically added to your list.  And  the Autoresponder you’ve set up will send out to your new subscribers  automatically  a series of  scheduled Email letters.   These Email letters are called ‘autoreponders.’

 

Then based on what’s happening on a day to day, you send out Email letters announcing some live webcast, results you got or share something special.  You are then ‘broadcasting’ to your list.

I am sure you have heard of marketers saying that they earned while they were away  on vacation or traveled or were hospitalized.  So with an autoresponder setup, your business is totally revolutionized.

Paid Traffic Tips:

{A} Ultimately you want to grow your list organically by generating traffic organically.  This is free traffic. 
You may not your prospect ‘personally.’  But they have read your blogs and seen your post and they feel they know you.  So they are your warm market.

This means seasoned marketers are so happy not to use paid methods.

{B}  Many new marketers made mistakes of paying lots of money for paid traffic.  They think buy spending lots of money they will get a large ROI…return on investment and create a big list fast.

Just like any other endeavors, you should start small, and experience and experiment.
If you belong to a Mastermind group or groups, your mentor and more seasoned members can guide you.  We are all interested in your success. 

{C} Using paid traffic is for building your list.  Not for getting instantaneous sales.  So you need to be patient.
Again do not blow off thousands of dollars in paid traffic… even if you can afford to do so.

{D}  If you can afford, only spend $5 to $10 per day on paid traffic.  When you begin to generate sales, relegate 1/3 of your commissions to paid ads.  Till you are comfortably growing your list.   For example,
if you earned $500 in a beginning month, you allocate about $150 -$170 to paid advertising.

[7] Don’t Do Tips:

 

{A}  Don’t spam.  Don’t slam.  Don’t just try to sell your company. Don’t just sell your products.

“Join my company.”
“Buy  these fantastic products.” 
Don’t try to sell your product Email after Email.  Don’t appear to be sending “buy” “buy” “buy”
multiple Email letters.

Build rapport and trust with your prospect first so that they want to do business with you and buy from you.

{B} Don’t Rely on phone calls to initiate prospecting.  No more cold calls or warm calls.

{C} Don’t meet for coffee or lunch for the purpose of prospecting and selling.

 

These are outdated methods.  Change your mindset; implement new tools in your business; and what you need is a massive action.

To become successful in your network marketing online business, you must build your Email list and  begin Email campaigns. 

If you are in network marketing, your upline may not be telling you, but they may already be using these strategies.   Successful independent consultants are using some of these strategies.  All successful entrepreneurs today are incorporating Email marketing in their business. 

Techie aspects of these strategies may overwhelm you.  But today thanks to innovative leaders a few automated systems and platforms are available.
