What Are Silent Killers of Success and Why Is It Difficult to Succeed in Network Home Business Online?
In 1937 Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” was published with 13 Principles of Success. Millions of people have studies and applied theses principles and many became successful. Today still so many people study. But success is not as easy as you think. These 7 silent killers are cousins. They are related.
People are not perfect and these manifest as distinct problems and issues. These seven killers are more like seven families of your relatives that keep you down in your place.
These silent killers can be classified into two groups.
I. Human’s interaction with Internet devices.
II. Purely Human factors.
I. Human’s interaction with Internet devices:
[1] Social Media:
Facebook and Social media are the first silent killers.
In a new era of Internet, we are supposed to be using Social Media to our advantage. To have fun and as effective and necessary marketing tools. Researchers have found that cell phone addiction is a real thing.
Unfortunately many people are adversely affected by Facebook and other social media sites. Do you see some people just post one after another, posting continuously spending hours on Facebook? What are their goals that they want to achieve? They don’t have awareness or they are not conscious of the outcome that they are looking for.
An independent study done found that the people staying on Facebook for many hours didn’t feel good and get mood swings.
According to Hufftingtonpost.com, the Austrian researchers instead found people feel crummy any time they’re on Facebook for too long, no matter what kind of stuff pops up.
Does it make sense to spend hours to know what your ‘friends’ are doing and posting. They go to Facebook immediately after they wake up and it the last thing they watch before they go to sleep.
Solution:
In my community, we train our new members to use Facebook productively in their business marketing.
[2] Checking Your Emails:
Another one of the greatest Internet tools is Emails. Many average citizens already spend too much time trying to manage their Email boxes. Very prominent and successful entrepreneurs are overwhelmed by this issue. Many top earners according to BusinessKnowHow.com, with 6 digit and 7 digit personal income, owning companies and projects are overwhelmed by Email. They really find it difficult to manage.
They seem to be overly concerned and preoccupied with their Email and keep going to their box and looking at it over and over during the course of the day. They just can’t let go. They are wasting lots of time and they keep interrupting and distracting themselves over and over again.
Solution:
These entrepreneur must learn to time manage and allocate when and how much time to spend on emails. Manage how many times you check your Email
Manage junk mail and whietlist.
They can also assign a personal assistant to deal with their Email.
In the old world, managers had a secretary or executive assistants who handled their mails.
User an autoresponder to handle customized correspondence with prospects. Using Aweber or Getresponse.
[1] & [2] are often causing you to be busy and but not productive
You are not focused on yourself, on target lack goal setting and achieving.
II. Sabotaging Personalities:
[3] Lack of Self Confidence:
This is a classic problem.
You are not sure if you are good enough. Why should people really like you and trust you.
Why people should buy from you? Why would anyone want to be your downline.
You are not a good leader and team builder. Self limiting beliefs strikes. Without a team, a leader, it is impossible to build a successful business. You will need to do some personal development work. Every thing is spelled out. You just need to follow. There is no mystery to this. The work is already developed and set up for you.
[4] Being a Loner:
I’ll do it myself. Not coachable.
You may have had some bad experiences and have deep seated trust tissues.
You act like a closed system. You don’t let others in. Never been exposed to working in a team.
Old school. Boss vs. workers. Master vs. slaves. Dominant teacher just lecturing and students without any initiatives. Competitive minds. You feel people are going to steal your ideas and achievements. Lack of trust. Not a team player.
You are not coachable. You don’t follow instructions. You don’t follow successful people. You try to reinvent a wheel. You get things so complicated and cannot keep things simple.
You may be a Silent Resister
Maybe you had very domineering parents. Lots of adults gave your bad advice and you followed them and turned out to be very bad. You don’t want to listen to anyone. Reinventing a wheel
Not following Instruction. To compensate, you developed a big ego to protect you.
but deep inside you are really scared and feel vulnerable.
Belong to a Mastermind group. Get a mentor. Learn to support new team members. Attend live casts and webinars by Industry leaders several times a week. Practice being a team player.
[5] Waiting for Godot Syndrome:
Passivity syndrome…
This is a very famous and popular Beckett’s play. The two main characters in the play are waiting for the person they have never met. Waiting for Godot.
Someone lets them know that Godot won’t be coming tonight.
They wait for the next day. Godot doesn’t come. They wait on the following day. Godot never comes.
It wonderful that some people practice prayer and meditation.
Some pray to God.
They wait god to grant them…
They wait God to deliver…
the Law of Attraction has become so popular…
People create their vision board
Visualize and Say affirmations
And wait and wait till
The thing they ask for appear in their lives.
If only I had money…
If only I had some resources…
If only I was born rich…
I only I had rich parents…
if only I were happy and clear…
If only had more education…
if only I knew what I want…
If only I was lucky…
If only I am inspired…
I can promote my business more…
I can blog daily…
You are missing decisiveness.
Your days are not aligned with your desire, vision and goals.
You are missing daily action taking.
You need to work with your Mentor and/or coach
You need to do your assignment.
[6] Staying in Comfort Zone:
Staying what is familiar. Change brings lots of pain.
You stay with a crowd who is less performing or at best at the same level as you.
You stick together to struggle, complain and blame others. Lick wounds.
You share sad and painful stories together. Watch TV and have parties.
Lots of dancing to escape to frivolous activities.
You go shopping at the mall.
You spent hours on computer.
You spent hours on Facebook aimlessly.
You are live in the world of conformity.
Evil Scenario— developing into self-justified, righteous acts violating the rights of others…
You get together with other callous mean people.
Pick on those less fortunate than you. A group of these kids gang up and bully weaker ones.
You become impatient, intolerant of people who are different than you are.
You act above the Law… this is one of the toughest kind that our society is facing in 2015.
[7] Addiction:
Addiction is an ancient problem. Now there is more scientific understanding of the cause and humanistic approach.
Addiction to drugs, alcohol, gambling, obsessive eating, sex
At first those who are addicted are socially and financially functional.
Then they slowly their power and reason are stripped off. They take their family members down.
Don’t wait till you hit the bottom. Get help. There are many 12 Step Programs available locally all over the globe. Sharing recovery, strength and hope.
There are more subtle forms of addiction. Some people stay in situations that they are used to. They’d rather die than switch. They are in denial of necessities to change. Even major corporations ended up falling. Empires have fallen. Addiction does not allow people to examine; what’s working; what’s not working; what needs to be improved and changed.
The Blogger’s Thoughts:
I have been focused on entrepreneurship and particularly Network marketing, Internet marketing and any independent associate business based out of home. The people are being squeezed out of the Corporate America. People are not finding solutions and happiness and enrichment in the good old 9-5 jobs.
Choose a simple automated system so that even beginners can start up a new business immediately.
If you are looking for an additional income working from home part time, this may be an ideal solution
for you.
To Your Success,
Yukiko Iino
