How to Change Our Mood
Using the 3 Ps Method
Use a Method or a System:
No matter whatever is going on in our lives,
there is one thing we need and we can get it right now.
It isn’t money, a super hero who is going to rescue us or going on another vacation. We’ve got to be in a great habit of using a method that works.
The 3Ps are; (1) Physical Body, (2) Perception and (3) Poverty Mentality.
The First P is Physical Body:
- Are we eating healthy? Are we eating three meals a day?
- Are we exercising enough? Like taking a walk, doing stretch exercises or going to a gym?
- Are we going to bed at a reasonable time and getting enough rest?
Taking care of our physical body is one way to be in a wonderful mood. We don’t suffer a sever mood swing when we take care of the physical body is well.
The Second P is Perception:
- Are we stuck in the same old ways of thinking and viewing things?
- Do we have our emotional and spiritual tools handy and ready for use?
Some people have got their favorite quotes:
“Courage is a fear that said its prayer.” (Joyce Meyers)How about ‘Being in the Present Moment’?
That is so ancient.
Tich Nhat Hanh, one of the most transformational Vietnamese Zen Priest said;
Looking at this moment, what is so bad? We are alive and breathing. We are enjoying being here and this moment now.
Prayer:
Many people use the Serenity Prayer to get through the day. I used the Prayer all the time. It is in my heart and in my brain, and I breathe with this prayer.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The Courage to change the things I can and the Wisdom to know the difference.”
We will always relish beautiful memories. We will be granted the wisdom to know what we can change and what we cannot. We can learned to not to regurgitate the suffering, our mistakes and failures of the past. Rather I focus on what I can work on and change to improve myself and my situation.
We will learn that we cannot change the others’ thoughts and behaviors to our own liking. We learn to shift our focus.
We just shift our perception this moment and this day.
The Third P is Poverty Mentality:
- Are we stuck in thinking like impoverished persons?
- This is the thinking that dominates our thoughts:
(1) We have no money,
(2) We have no time
(3) and we have no resource.
(4) We have nothing.
(5) We cannot do much. - Even if we have no money, can we still have fun? There are tons of community events we can participate for free, concerts, street fairs, and lectures.
- No time? Take one hour of fun outside. It’s amazing that we get so energized and actually can get more things done.
- No resources or no friends. Some people have a phone list of Mastermind Group or Buddy System members they can phone… text message or send a personal message on Facebook or even Skype.
“Insanity is doing the same things over and over again, expecting a different result.”
We are so down, feeling lonely, tired, depressed and physically and emotionally hungry, and not even consciously expecting any different result, deep inside, my friends, we really want a different result.
Let’s create a system and get into a habit of changing our negative mood.
[1] Physical Body: What is one thing we can improve in our Physical Body to be healthier
[2] Perception: One thing we can change from a negative to positive way of looking at our situation.
[3] Poverty Mentality: Take one action today to get unstuck from the Poverty Mentality.
Working one day and one step at a time.
Having an organized system to work on your mindset allows you to improve your perspectives. You will enjoy feeling great.
My Team and I also use a very well formulated system for our business that helped thousands of entrepreneurs achieve their financial and lifestyle goals. After all if someone is struggling to pay his bills, it’s a lot harder to feel happy.
