Can You Afford a Google Self-Driving Car?
How helpful a Google car will be!
I immediately think of people who are disabled or getting too old to drive around in their suburban neighborhoods.
Owning a Google car would be ideal for old folks who have to stop driving.
I am not worried about old age. Worrying is not a strategy for living.
Great planning is. Life in the USA is much more automobile dependent than European and Asian countries. Without the use of the car, older people’s choices and freedoms to have functional and independent lives are greatly reduced.
“Will you still need me, will you still feed me?”
The Beatles sang!
Today 64 is still young and people at this age are still independent.
They drive around. They travel and many are still employed.
By choice or necessity?
The 2007 economic crisis, the second Great Depression was the worst game changer for the baby boomers. Did you know that most Americans of this generation with 401K and other retirement plans have big debt payment? It eats up their income faster than any savings they have.
I believe that there will be safe self-driving cars available on the market.
So the question is your purchasing power:
Will you be able to afford one to enjoy freedom of living at your own home instead of being rushed off to your kid’s home or an assisted living facility?
The question is: Is your financial future secure?
Do you have funds set up to enjoy your life after your retirement with comfort and dignity?
Will you be able to afford a Google Car?
Or is it your turn to support your aging parents?
