In Your Business and In Your Life Whom Do You Follow As Your Mentor?
Whom do you follow in your business and in your life? Do you model after someone?
Are you humble enough? No ego involved?
A great man is always willing to be little.
It not about you demeaning yourself or not having self-confidence.
Why do many people feel and think:
- “I’ve got to be me.”?
- “I’ll have to do it by myself.”
- “I don’t have to follow anyone else.”
When we have a team and we want other to join us, we always ask;
- “Are you coachable?”
- “Are you open-minded?”
- “Are you willing to learn?”
Humility comes with a sense of
- Being open-minded.
- Being willing to follow someone
- And needing to listen to someone.
You are not involved with all that ego driving you.
It’s not about:
- “I know more than the other person.”
- “I can do better than the other person.”
- “I have more experience.”
- “I’m older.”
Especially in the Industry of Internet Marketing, people in their 30’s, early 40’s or even 20’s are doing so well. If you are older, and what you feel is you can stand on your life experience and business experience. But you aren’t doing as well as these young people are. You must realize doing well has nothing to do with the accumulation of age, being older. Sometimes how we measure how much you are capable and knowledgeable have nothing to do with your age or prior experience in other business experiences.
So you need to let go of lots of these ways of assessing your situation. You cannot hold onto what was in the pas for you when you are in a new field. It doesn’t matter y9u have a PHD, BMA or BS degree and your sponsor is a college drop out. You were a respectable professional and broke. And your sponsor who was a waitress is making far more in a month what you could make in a year.
You learn from the people who succeeded in this particular interest area.
Are you following anyone? Especially in the era of Internet, more and more people want to do business online.
- Do you think it is just about knowing the technology related skills?
- Or software or applications?
- No, your online isn’t just all about these technical skills and know-how’s.
Ultimately the spiritual attitude of humility is one of the best along with gratitude and faith …
Without faith, gratitude and humility, my friend, I am afraid to say but you will not be very successful in business.. especially online today.
We are in the era where the technology, science, spirituality and personality are merging. You must be growing into the person to succeed.
These are the reasons why you need to find a mentor to follow.
In the era of the Internet, it is almost counter-intuitive to think …
You’d think you just how to rely on the Internet and technology…
No, that isn’t the case!
The Internet intensifies your mindset and human relationships as success factors:
- and we need to learn to be humble.
- to be grateful
- and have faith.
- and be able to work with others
- to be successful.
Find a mentor.
Learn to be humble.
Humility is one of the best teachers and the best tools that you can learn by.
I’ve come across with this simple system and a community a couple of years ago.
It definitely is a learning community
They form small teams and come together as a community.
In their group mastermind hangouts on the Internet and live events
these members of Inter marketers are trained;
- in marketing philosophy and skills;
- personal development is taught and studied daily.
- Leaders emerge.
Meet the people in the community and find out about this system.
