What Is Stress and How Can You Manage Stress?

 

Did you know that scientists hate the word stress because it is too subjective?  It doesn’t mean anything to them.   That’s weird.  Because aren’t you suffering from some form of stress?  Most people are in this society.

I found that if you are leading an abundant life, there is less stress.  Stress has so much to do your financial situation.  But then, you must have a great order-working life style. 

Management of Your LifeStyle:


[1]  You have to eat well. Regular eating routines.  Nutritional breakfast. Eliminate processed foods. Avoid fast food places.  Avoid soft drinks and excessive alcholo.   Avoid chmicals, sugar and trasn fat.  Eat good portions of fresh vegetables and fruits. 

[2] You must do some types of stress management.  Go to bed at regular time.  Give yourself enough time for sleeping.  Enjoy recreational time outdoors. 

Balance work and play. 

[3] You must have a physical exercise routine that you do daily.  For example take a walk.

[4] You must have the mindset that allows you to take it easy and not sweat over the small stuff; mind your own business; don’t interfere with others’ affair and try not to be a control freak.

1:35 Unfortunately in the area of the country or the world where people are suffering poverty, men, women and children, especially women and young children who have been subjected to poverty and abuse that come with poverty… found that they were more subjected to stress.  A recent study showed that they are more subjected to disease and illness caused by stress.

There are some basic things you can do to overcome these symptoms. 

Take a daily walk.  If you are not actively going to a gym.

Relaxation Techniques:

[6] Deep Breathing

Deep breathing will help you to relax.  Check your breathing; how you are breathing.  As you breathe,
r-e-l-a-x.   (Slowly and deeply) breathe in through your nostrils and breathe out through your mouth.
Saying “Haaa” from the lower abdomen.  This is called the lower abdominal breathing. Or Hara Breathing.  (More description in my blogs.)

3:16 Before you get so stressed out, tired and tense, you can also relax your eyes.

Especially in this computer age, the eyes are really over used.  Use Bates Method.   This is so old.  This is such an old method. It’s been around for more than 75 years or even more.   Basically this is one of Yoga practices.  

Bate Method to relax your Eyes:

A] Lying down is best.  But you can do this sitting down as well.

B] Close your eyes gently and places your palms over your eyes.   This is called “cupping.”

C] Let your eyes sink deep and imagine a dark resting place for your eyes.  For a few minutes.

There are many massage techniques that you can do to yourself.

Ying and Yang Philosophy:

Applying this ancient Chinese philosophy (Universal Law), use something opposite.   What is weakened, you strengthen. What is overused, you rest.  It is never about collapsing.

In life there has to a balance in your life for you to enjoy relaxation without being stressed.  Healthy body and mind and relationship are without doubt necessary.  Many people do not take that one extra step to liberate themselves to gain that healthy financial life.  Our government, corporate structure, owner of your company no longer gives or rewards us financial security.  None of them promises your financial freedom.  In my opinion the entire social structure set up keeps most of us financial slaves.

Without being radical or revolutionary, many thousands of people have gained their financial freedom and not wait till they retire at an older retirement age.   In an era of Internet, people can gain freedom more easily than ever before.
