How Do You Pick Yourself Up when You are Troubled:
We live in a time to fix our problems with artificial measures, external stimulation and temporary patches.
We try to keep going till we crash.
- Drinks (alcoholic)
- Coffee and stimulant drinks
- Pills like anti depressant, pain killers, sleeping pills.
- Shopping at the mall if you have a few bucks to splurge
- Sport Cars
- Partying
- Frivolous dating & having affairs
- Immersed in social media posting and computer games
- Trying to ignore the pain as long as possible
- Being in denial of eminent problems are larking around the corner
You will learn the power of working with the Universal Laws and make your life more balanced and holistic as you learn to pick yourself up and move on.
Working with Principles and Universal Law of Compensation:
Way #1: Principles over Personality:
Recognize your pattern.
People react to everything.
They react emotionally.
They take everything on a personal level.
See things either right or wrong and black and white?
“Everything is happening to me.”
“Someone did it to me.”
Their operational mode is upset, hurt, angry and disturbed.
You try to figure out something as if this never happened to you.
Panic and upset.
When you are based on the principles, you will not be disturbed by the appearance of things.
Way #2: Keep your house and your temple in order:
Do you live in a clean, neat and organized environment?
Life is dynamic and many things happen. You want to make sure you have a sanctuary.
The home environment that nurtures and comforts you.
Your temple is a metaphor for your body and mind. Your physical body is where you house your mental, emotional and spiritual thoughts and feeling that are going on with you. You want to eat well. Rest and sleep adequately. You should do enough exercises to stay fit.
When you take care of these two dwellings, you will not suffer dramatic mood swings or fatigue.
Your two dwellings will support you to be energetic and persistent to keep moving in your life at a steady pace.
Way #3: Remember Your Why’s:
The trouble is right now and you forget where you come form.
Whatever is happening in your life at this moment…
You are going to do what you need to be to follow your WHY.
Didn’t get what you were expecting
Someone very dear to you passed away or moved away…
you broke up…
You just aren’t getting the result you are looking for…
That old self-doubt is creeping in…
You are losing faith…
You’ve been working too hard…
You are exhausted…
Worried about your future…
Exercise to Restore Your Strength:
Exercise Part 1:
Now spend 10-30 minutes and recall why you got started in the first place.
Your WHY!
That is your reason for being..
Your reason for living
Your reason for keep going with courage…
Your reason for reaching and having those things…
Carefully write all down…
Exercise Part 2:
Write down all the discouraging, negative thoughts and doubts you are feeling
Take one dominant theme or two…
Put them on top
Then, line up others…
Recite all of them line by line…
Acknowledge all of the thoughts… one by one
Exercise Part 3:
Even though (…..say all the things from part 2 …)
I know I must keep doing (Your activities today , tomorrow and every day)
I know why it is so important to be doing (… repeat what you need to do .. )
These are the reasons (….. State your Whys ….. )
You must study, understand and implement the Natural Law of Compensation:
Ways #4, #5 and #6
Natural Law of Compensation is the law of laws.
Known as the Law of Cause and Effect.
“When you put time and effort, you will get back something from the Universe.”
“As you sow, so shall you reap.” This is a simple example of this law.
Ralph Waldo Emerson first published the Natural Law of Compensation in his ‘Essays’ in 1841.
Every life philosopher and teacher of personal development studied this law carefully.
Andrew Carnegie said to Napoleon Hill when he still was a young reporter;
98% of people who work for wages do not have definite a plan or purpose better than working for that set wage.
Andrew Carnegie demanded riches, he had a definite plan to get riches.
The wheel of fortune follows the mental blueprint the person sets up in his mind, producing the exact physical equivalent amount.
The cosmic habit force leads to your own habit.
Man is bound by imagination not instincts.
Rebuild your attitudes and habits… no such thing as a permanent habit.
Earl Nightingale studied and so did Napoleon Hill. Great teaching has been passed down to all those who studied and acquired the knowledge and wisdom. In the early 1960’s “Working with the Laws” was published by Raymond Holliwell. Mary Mann Morrissey was a student of Raymond Holliwell.
Bob Proctor introduced an audio course called “the 11 Forgotten Laws” based on this book with Mary Mann Morrissey. The Law of Compensation is included here.
Bob Proctor teaches from the Law of compensation
that the amount of compensation is in direct proportion to 3 things:
Way #4: The need for what you do
Way #5: Your ability to do this
Way #6: The difficulty there is to replace you.
Some laws are conceptual and appear indirect. If you violate the law, you may not suffer the ill consequences immediately.
The Universe will give you what you put in…
Your pay comes from the Infinite source of supply
Ask yourself how am I good at what I am doing
Can I get better at it?
How can I improve…
When you diligently begin to practice #4, 5 and 6, you will experience sufficiency and abundance and levels of disappointment and frustration you experience will be less and less.
Very common ways people violate this law are as follows:
- Are you trying to get things free, or without putting energy, effort or paying for the service you receive?
Stealing is the one of the worst offence here. But you may be always trying to get freebies without ever intending to pay for any services. - If you are violating the right of others, by deception, manipulation, your offense is more serious.
- Being negative, judgmental and critical of someone is also violating the Law of compensation.
- This person has done lots of good and offered service. You are not rewarding him with the same or level of kindness and service.
- This violation is done by you against yourself. It is hidden from your awareness. You have a limiting belief about what you deserve and capable of allowing yourself to live an abundant life.
Way #7 Holistic Setup for a balanced lifestyle:
- When a person leads a balanced life, he/she will less likely experience extreme ups and downs in life.
- If you have some financial breakdown, you probably will not be wiped out.
- If your loved one passed away, as grief- stricken as you may be, you will be able to cherish beautiful memories and celebrate your loved one’s life.
- If you are breaking up with someone significant in your relationship, you will be more forgiving and peaceful. You will never be obsessively focused on one person.
- If your health is not great, you will be able to follow up with appropriate medical treatments and even attempt to find out many alternative solutions.
- You will enjoy support of your community and Mastermind groups.
- You will not be in a desperate situation, so you will be able to take time off to relax and gain new perspectives on your current situation.
- You life is full and exciting and you will be able to let go of the things and people that are no longer supporting your well being and growth. You will be able to detach from these types of situations and people with love in your heart.
Life is adventurous and exciting when you have serenity and stability.
In fact many thousands of people have been planning and taking action to achieve a balanced lifestyle.
