3 Tips to Stay Young and Youthful
To stay youthful, you must create an abundant life of fun, fitness of the mind and the body and financial security.
We Can Be Forever Young:
it is a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination,
a vigor of the emotions, a predominance of courage over timidity,
of the appetite for adventure over love of ease.
Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years;
people grow old only by deserting their ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.
Worry, doubt, self-distrust, fear and despair
-these are the long, long years that bow
the head and turn the growing spirit back to dust.
Whether seventy or sixteen,
there is in every being’s heart the love of wonder,
the sweet amazement at the stars and star-like
things and thoughts, the undaunted challenge of events,
the unfailing childlike appetite for what next,
and the joy and the game of life.
You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt;
as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear,
as young as your hope,
as old as your despair.
So long as your heart receives messages of beauty, cheer,
courage, grandeur and power from the earth,
from man and from the Infinite, so long you are young.
When the wires are all down
and all the innermost core of your heart is covered
with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism,
then you are grown old
indeed and may God have mercy on your soul.

We want to stay forever youthful not just young:
The word ‘Young’ describes an early stage of a life cycle.
Cycle of life consists of birth, living, death, rebirth. Going through reincarnation.
This is a common belief in Asian religion and philosophy not at all uncommon to Western religion and philosophy.
There are four cycles in this life:
1. Birth to Childhood /Teenage hood
2. Young Adulthood to Adulthood
3. Middle age
4. Old Age
Here I am talking about getting older.
50+, 55+, 60+ and older…
And it is your responsibility to
- share your legacy with your grown-up daughters, sons, and grandchildren.
- Influence your community.
- Share and influence with your wisdom and life experience that you accumulated throughout your life time.
If you are getting aged, feeble, senile,
and if an illness strikes you, and you become physically disabled…
then you are not really sharing the fruit and rewards of you long life that you lived.
It is your right and your responsibility to remain youthful and influential.
I would like to share my secret with you.
The first step of staying youthful is to take a walk every day.
The benefits of daily walk are numerous. Daily walking creates a foundation of your spiritual and emotional being. Physical benefits are countless.

3 Tips of staying young and youthful consists of 3 F’s:
1] Fitness and Health
Physical Fitness:
This category is a big one. Not only about your musculature, body weight, body shape, blood pressure and pain free joints. This may mean going to a gym, taking Yoga classes, or stretch classes.
Walking is a must. Some people jog daily. Take martial art classes.
Facial & Skin Care:
A facial should be about skin care, not just relaxation. Recently I saw an an all time icon Rock & Roll star perform on stage… He’s been aging; his singing, his voice still remained great. His movement, physical agility and leanness were all amazing. but his face showed his age with deep creases of wrinkles… revealing stress and lots of not so great lifestyle habits.
Your face and skin conditions are so essential in keeping you young and youthful…

Mind & Spirituality:
Mental health and personal development for your mind. Develop the right mindset to cope with challenges. 30 minutes of reading a great book on personal development daily.
Meditation and prayer and reciting one affirmation. Designate 30 minutes per day.
Proper Diet:
There are so many kinds of diets each claiming to give you ultimate health.
You would have to keep open mind, research and experiment what works for you best.
2] Fun, Recreation, Relaxation:
This is about your lifestyle.
- A balance of play and work.
- A balance of time for yourself and family.
- A balance of serious study /learning time and fabulous party time.
- A balance of quality time at home and traveling.
- A vigorous outdoor activities and goofing around at home.
- Art and culture, museums and theater going and barbecue with gals and guys.
- A balance of nature, your own neighborhood, and big cities.
You may say it is too much work.
It is like depositing a penny a day to your ‘Lifestyle Bank’ that doubles in its value daily.
- Be mindful
- Be Consistent
- Believing
- Never giving up.
It’s never too late to start to reverse you aging process.
You start at age 40, 50, even 60… it works!
3] Financial Security:
If you live in a tiny village and your family all live very close, You didn’t need much. Such was the case more than 100 years. The systems that gave Americans their financial security crumbled for a majority of Americans.
The Examination of Your Retirement Plan:
Unless you have enough financial security to do the things you want, live comfortable and share your resources generously with your loved ones, it is very difficult to remain youthful.
All the things required to maintain your fitness; have good time and spend meaningful time with your loved ones are seriously compromised. You don’t have to be “filthy rich.”
If you are determined to stay youthful, you will have to think differently about how to generate more income than you are currently making.
